Truss City Roofing uses the International Truss System Roofcon computer program. This program has been developed by International Truss Systems & Gang Nail Systems Ltd. (U.K.) with the full support of International Truss System’s registered professional engineers and is in accordance with the following codes of practice:

• The general procedures and loadings to be adopted for the design of buildings SABS 0160.
• The structural use of timber – SABS 0663 Part 2
• The design & manufacture of timber roof trusses – SABS 0243

The design values for the Tri Plate punched metal connectors used in the manufacture of the trusses have been determined by the CSIR and LIGNUM Laboratory (University of Pretoria)
All timber used in the manufacture of trusses meets SABS requirements.
Annual inspections are carried out by the South African Technical Auditing Services (SATAS).

We currently hold a Category B status with SATAS.
